Come join us for an evening of with outdoor friends, new and old. Food & drinks are available for purchase. Discussion of dove, hog, deer, pheasant, quail, duck hunting and anything you can shoot at that doesn’t shoot back will be discussed. A few big fish stories will also be tolerated. We are a group that enjoys hunting and fishing all over Texas and the surrounding states. Learn about the trips that the Club has planned for the next year and let us know what you would like to do in the outdoors. We can make it happen. Please come and join us for the occasion. This is a free event and no registration is required. Feel free to bring a guest.
The club is hosting a wild game potluck. The concept is that everyone brings a food dish; and each person gets to try their luck sampling them all. This is a great time to show off your family’s favorite wild game recipes while trying something new. Bring your favorite wild game dish to share with your DWWCC friends. Along with your dish if possible please bring a recipe card with your dish. If possible bring it in crockpot or other warming device. The club will have a few other warming devices. The club will provide a few sides and desserts. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Please bring your ready to eat dish at 6:30. The food line will open at 7PM.
Upon registering you will receive an invite from Sign Up Genius to indicate what you plan to bring. Our hope is to have a wide variety of food items to enjoy. If you do not have meat to bring let us know, and we may be able to source something for you. If you have something special that you would like for the club to guess what we are eating please sign up for the mystery item. This was a fun tradition from DWWC’s youth trip to Vermejo. We hope everyone will bring something. If you are unable to cook, buy something already prepared and come and spend time with friends.
Registration for this event is $5 per person to help cover the cost of the venue. Members may bring guests!
