Join the Club for its first annual pistol shooting championship. We will have 2 divisions for this competition. The first is iron sights and the other is an open division that allows for red dots. We will have 5 lanes reserved for shooters along with a range safety officer. The night will begin with a mandatory safety briefing followed by a short practice session. After the practice session each participant will shoot 10 shots with the highest score winning. Ties will reshoot. For the competition pistols must be centerfire calibers. No rimfires will be allowed. There will be prizes for the winners.
After the competition is completed shooters may stick around to shoot as much as they desire. Feel free to bring other targets for the fun shooting.

Dallas Woods and Waters is hosting its 5th annual Tom Stone Memorial Dove Hunt opening weekend. This is the club’s premier event and often described as the best value in Texas dove hunting. The cost of this hunt is $490 per person and includes 2 nights lodging, 2 days of hunting, and 5 meals. Hunting is the mornings of 9/6 and 9/7. Please note that hunting on Sunday afternoon will likely be limited. Lodging is provided from Saturday night until Monday AM with meals served at the lodge. We will be hunting with our West Texas preferred outfitter Ranger Creek Goose. Lodging will again be with Big Country Baptist Assembly. A hospitality suite is provided along with several activities at the camp. All rooms are double occupancy with a private bathroom. This is a great hunt for hunters of all ages and experience levels. It is family friendly. Limits are possible on this hunt, but what makes this a great trip is the time spent with fellow members. Due to demand this trip is limited to members and their immediate family members only. No guests of members will be permitted. If you are not a member or your membership has lapsed please join DWWCC today. Special youth rates are available upon request. If you have any questions please reach out to Erik Fosheim at efosh@aol.com or 612-803-4002.
All hunters must have a valid Texas Hunting License, Hunter Safety (if required), and all necessary endorsements. It is expected that attendees will follow all state and federal regulations.
